I came across these wonderful strange little hand soaps (literally) on the etsy blog today. They are made by Foliage. Very clever/very creepy?!

UPDATE: I have had to put my shops on Vacation mode as I am moving house and then have a long holiday to the US over Christmas so I won't be re-opening until Feb 2010. 

I've never had a sale so I thought "Rachelle, it's about time you had a sale." So I updated all my listings in my etsy and made it stores (now I have a sore neck - because it took so long and was really boring). 

I don't do things by halves, well maybe I do, because everything is HALF PRICE! Except for my doll stuff. Small print. 

Get over there and have a browse - you need to buy more stuff, right? Nice stuff. I've added more listings. When I checked my inactive listings I was surprised to discover some treasures I had forgotten about. I have checked that I have them all stored away nicely, ready to send.

Berkley Illustration Prints

I'm crazy for these great digital prints from Berkley Illustrations. I'm really thinking I need to get these for Rick for Christmas, you know he's the boy squirrel and I'm the girl squirrel... I find it hard to buy art for people as a gift even someone I know as well as that guy I've lived with for 18years. But I love them... so what to do? --insert pause-- okay I just casually asked him what he thought of the boy squirrel - he likes it! - he thinks it would be really cool if it was huge though? Okay. Anyway I went and ordered them so that's Rick for Christmas. As if he doesn't know what I'm up to...hehe.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

Two things: The minimum donation on Global Giving is $10.00 and they charge 15%. You can choose to have the 15% added on to the $10 (total $11.50) or included in the $10, in which case $8.50 goes to the project. Why is everything so complicated!?

My goal is to raise $100, that is enough to put one child through school for one year! I don't expect to raise that much with just this giveaway, although that would be amazing, I plan to do more giveaways until I have reached my goal.

We all love halloween in this house. I guess because Rick is from the US we make more of it than others in Australia but I have noticed over the years it gets more popular and why not, it's so much fun! Here's a very cool costume worn by Heidi Klum last year..

new doll and Mr. G

Wow, it takes so long to get anything done in the school holidays. I did get a little time to myself today and finally finished this little doll. Too cute! Here she is in some pj's (in a tree!?) and then all dressed up with her cardy and notebook in her pocket.

 

 

 

Check out this awesome cup I got the other day. Mr.G and Celine always make me laugh. I wonder if there will be another Summer Heights High...
